Season 4 - Episode 11 - Lay Your Hands On Me

Bailey and her husband cope while watching their sun go through and wake up from surgery. izzie tells georges mom about his and callie's divorce, thinking that she already knew. merideth and derek seperate after merideth hears about derek kissing rose.

this was a good episode in all, but i think they should have added more about the other characters since it was right before the writers strike. it made me cry at the end when it played "broken" by lifehouse, because they were all looking at the people that they love. callie was so funny talking to george...she got so mad when she found out george didn't tell his mom about the divorce. it was also funny when callie got the baby clothes and she soo surprised. lexi is such a good sister, she eats the breakfast merideth made for her even though she was aleergic to it. i feel so bad for bailey.

Meredith works to save two paramedics trapped in an ambulance,while Lexie discovers that patients can't always be saved,and Derek must rely on the help of Rose to save one.Bailey struggles with her marriage, Rebecca returns and Izzie tries to be hardcore.

I loved every minute of it. I was extremely glad to see that Bailey's personal life story is being developed further, as she is one of my favourite characters. I even like Rose, though I detest this storyline. Derek should know better... The dancing sequence was beautiful and it's nice to see Meredith trying to accept Lexie, especially brought in by Cristina. The dancing scene is also great because it is something so typically Grey's Anatomy, it really shows the close nit friendship bond between the characters and sometimes people just really need to blow of some steam, for which dancing is fantastic!

An anonymous donation arrives so Heather can have the $300,000 experimental surgery to straighten her spine. Miranda knows it's from Izzie and asks if she did it so she could scrub in. Izzie says it was because she wanted Heather to have a normal life. Miranda tells her she's once again overly involved in a patient's case so she can't scrub in.

After their near kiss, Alex and Addison are incredibly nervous around each other. Callie is asking Addison's advice about George's suddenly kissing her and realizes Addison isn't listening. She confesses what's on her mind: she aborted Mark's baby and today was the due date. Mark had wanted the baby, but she had wanted a baby with Derek, not him. "I never thought I'd end up alone," she says.
